YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg

Ashley Ryneska is Vice President of Marketing for the YMCA of Greater St. Petersburg where she leads brand and organizational advancement for the local arm of the nation’s largest nonprofit.  Her work has contributed to notable community recognition including the Tampa Bay Business Journal's Non-Profit of the Year Award - Public and Societal Benefit (2013), the Raymond James Community Impact Award (2013 & 2017), and the Telly Award (2016 & 2017). Ashley also proudly served as opening speaker during the launch of Y-USA’s national advertising campaign launch in Chicago – its largest marketing initiative since World War One, impacting more than 10,000 communities.   

 

Prior to moving to St. Pete, Ashley gained considerable marketing experience across the real estate, healthcare, and grocery industries. She then expanded into tech and direct response marketing through a leadership role at NutriSystem in Philadephia, where she drove revenue growth from $40MM to $300MM. During her tenure, NutriSystem was named the nation’s #1 Fastest Growing Company by Fortune and #2 Best Small Company by Forbes. 

 

Ashley’s marketing career stems from a Mass Journalism degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her collegiate years, leading up to post-graduate studies at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, included state and national news editorial work along with summer internships at People Magazine (Time Inc.) in NYC.

 

Ashley was a proud member and Fundraising Chair for the Leadership St. Pete Class of 2017. She serves on the Insight Board for the St. Petersburg Group where she also co-hosts St. Pete X, a local business podcast.
