After graduating college Daniel went straight into the finance world working on consumer facing technology, where he led projects to increase and improve the use of technology to reach and serve the younger customers. In late 2013 Daniel moved to St. Louis to work at a newly formed financial technology accelerator called SixThirty. While there, he vetted and assessed numerous applicants culminating in investments in eight startups. From there, Daniel began working with a startup nonprofit called LaunchCode leading their candidate operations, marketing and growth. He has played a pivotal role in helping to grow the organization from 3 employees to 40, and thanks to Daniel’s assessment process, LaunchCode has successfully placed over 1000+ candidates into technology careers.
