Joy launched the first of 15 ventures at age 18, nine successful acquisitions and two IPO’s later she exercises her passion for building high-value, scalable businesses as the founder and CEO of New Market Partners.  Since founding the company in in 2004,  Joy has helped launch 96 companies, worked with over 800 startups helping them build scalable businesses. She is an active early stage investor, startup advisor, and leads efforts to create opportunities for talented tech entrepreneurs worldwide.

Joy has led public and private companies from bootstrap through venture and IPO; raising over $360M in capital, and generating over $15B in revenue. Her experience extends to top companies in the industry including Apple, Akamai and CA Technologies where she was responsible for the over $2B in revenue and 17 acquisitions. 

Joy is the Co-founder and CEO of Applied G2 a cybersecurity company that works with the Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 as well as the Co-founder Invision Communications.  She serves as a Board Director of several public and private technology companies.  The founding Director of Startup Grind Florida, and Technova Florida, Inc., a 501c3 non profit dedicated to the success of Florida’s technology sector. 

Joy is an alumnus of the University of Georgia, Emory University Goizueta School of Business, and MIT and holds multiple security, forensics and technical industry certifications. Her most recent honors from the business community include: Technology Leader of the Year, Business Woman of the Year, a three time Power 100 Business Leader, Top 25 Business Leaders in Tampa Bay, Top 10 Influencer of Innovation.  A published author, frequent global speaker, and contributor to Fortune, Forbes, Bloomberg, Wired, CISO and other media outlets, she is a globally recognized voice in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Mobile and Cybersecurity.
